{a wonderful birthday}

Yesterday was my birthday and I was so blessed by my family. First in the morning we went to breakfast at The Brown Bag. That place is one of my favorites. I have probably been there 4 times in my whole life before this month, but this month I have gone twice. Lets say my diet started today. Anyway, I had a wonderful breakfast with my sister and my parents. The sun also decided to shine all day long yesterday and it was glorious. 70 degrees and sunny- oh yeah baby! After breakfast, well brunch, we went home and I worked on some homework until about 4 when the other half of my family showed up. Ross and Melissa and Ross and Ida came over for the rest of the evening. One thing I got for my birthday was a new camera lens!!! My current one was broken when a stage insert fell on my camera about a year ago, so my nice camera has been collecting dust ever since, but now that I have a new lens, it collects dust no longer. That makes me a happy girl. Since I have a working camera again, I took a "couple" pictures yesterday, well maybe it was closer to 200, but you catch my drift. Anyway, here are my faves from yesterday.

Recently, I have been on an Audrey Hepburn kick. I have been watching/ wanting to watch Roman Holiday, Funny Face, Sabrina, and How to steal a million. I just love her as an actor. I have been enjoying this little Audrey kick, but I think it is funny that my enjoyment of her movies came at this time of the year because today is her birthday!

{My Favorite Boy}

Today my favorite little boy turns 2! Can you believe it?! It seems like yesterday I was beholding a boy as tiny as the one on the left. But really now he is the cutest little boy ever on the right. He has grown up so stinkin much- it is unreal. It is amazing to me what a kid will learn in 2 years. Ross now talks all the time. 

   He is the sweetest. Just the other day he came over and once he got into the house he ran straight to where               the balls are located. He grabbed one and ran past me. I figured he'd keep on running by so he could play with his ball, but I figured I would ask him for a hug anyway. I did and he stopped where he was at and said "okay!" Then after he gave me a squeeze he said in the cutest voice "kiss too?" Of course I said YES! I would never deny a kiss from that little boy. Every time I hear the words "Auntie Sar" leave his mouth, my heart melts. I love this boy. Ross, from the moment I first laid eyes on you, you made me feel like the most privileged auntie in the whole wide world! You are the best! Happy Birthday =)

On Thursday, my school's FBLA (future business leaders of America) chapter headed state, which happened to be not to far away- Seattle. We all stayed in the Westin and it was quite lovely. 

This was view from my room on the 15th floor.

On Thursday, I had someone come and visit me for lunch, my seester! It was wonderful. We walked to the cheesecake factory and just took in all of beautiful Seattle :)

Samara and I even got to see a police man on horseback!

Thursday day we competed, but Thursday evening we took the monorail to the space needle, went to dick's and hung out at the fountain. It was a glorious evening. Well except for accidentally going into the men's bathroom at dick's, but that is a different story for a different time.

The other day, this cutie came over over :)

It stopped raining for a bit, so we played outside. He ran through the grass, learned how to jump off the curb, and played with "crush" his new turtle

if you put him outside, he becomes the most smiley boy ever!
