Get Ready
Get set.
Go.
I am finally ready to share my pictures and memories from my recent travels with you lovely followers. Its hard to believe that 2 months ago today I saw the Vatican, Sistene Chapel, Colosseum, Spanish Steps, and Trevi Fountain. Rome, I loved for its history. Assisi, I loved for the stories and legacy of St. Francis. Florence, I loved for its breathtaking views, art, and shopping. Venice, I loved for its glass and peaceful feeling. Are you all ready for a picture overload?
So here is Rome from my lens. Enjoy.
The beginning of a long flight.
Exploring at night.
The ceiling art is beyond amazing. Would you believe me if I told you that the ceiling you see above is flat? Because it is. Totally cool!
Oh and the tapestries were some of my favorites. This scene was so amazing. Jesus coming out of the grave.
This was our tour guide, Antonio. He was one cool dude and was probably the best tour guide I could have ever asked for.
About this time 2 months ago I ate this tasty pesto. I so wish I could recreate this moment.
I ran into the middle of the road for this pic, but I am so glad I did. Seeing the Colosseum was one of the highlights of my trip. So surreal.
Roman Holiday for the win :)
I love Vespas
Rome was such an amazing city. So rich and full of history. I was in awe by the art and beautiful sights.
Tomorrow: Assisi
