Life

Crazy. Unpredictable. Sweet. Sad. Happy.

These are just a few words that come to mind in describing my life right now. We have just 24 days left of school, which means I am in the last part of the 4th quarter. It seems as if everything is due, but I know this is not more than I can handle. The Lord is so good to me and gives me wisdom. At times I feel like the long nights will never end, but I am always reminded of the good life I have, one that I often take for granted.

In just 18 days the Seniors graduate and oh how I will miss them. They have become such a deep part of me this last year. I can honestly say that in these 9 months I have become better friends with these 7 seniors, than I ever was with my past class of 12 years. Thankfully most of the seniors will be just upstairs for this next year, but it still wont be the same without them.

As I sit here on my deck writing this post, I am sweetly pondering life and school. I am almost complete with my Junior year and then I will be a Senior. It is crazy that I have come this far. I would never have imagined that these last 12 years would look like how they have. They were never my plan, but God's plan is rarely our plan. He has a reason for what he does. I can't see it and yes its hard. Do I understand why I will be the smallest graduating class in CCA history? No. Do I wish it was this way? Well not really, but obviously God does. This past week my sweet friend Ashley encouraged me with this verse:
"Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we’re in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed..."
-Hebrews 12:2-

I have also been encouraged by Psalms 15

Lord, who may dwell in your sacred tent?
Who may live on your holy mountain?
The one whose walk is blameless,
 who does what is righteous,
who speaks the truth from their heart;
whose tongue utters no slander,
who does no wrong to a neighbor,
 and casts no slur on others;
who despises a vile person
 but honors those who fear the Lord;
who keeps an oath even when it hurts,
  and does not change their mind;
who lends money to the poor without interest;
who does not accept a bribe against the innocent.
Whoever does these things
will never be shaken.

"Whoever does these things will never be shaken." That means when disappointing things come, yes they will hurt, but it won't shake my walk with God. This has so encouraged me. God is good. In the end, he wins the day and I have nothing to fear.

You know me

I don't have many words, but I do have some lyrics. Read and ponder.
---

You have been
And You will be
You have seen
And You will see

You know when I rise and when I fall
When I come or go, You see it all
You hung the stars and You move the sea,
And still You know me

Whoa oh oh oh, You know me
Whoa oh oh oh

You have been
And You will be
And You have seen
And You will see

You know when I rise and when I fall
When I come or go, You see it all
You hung the stars and You move the sea,
And still You know me

Whoa oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh, You know me
Whoa oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh

And nothing is hidden from Your sight
Wherever I go, You find me
And You know every detail of my life
And You are God and You don't miss a thing

And nothing is hidden from Your sight
Wherever I go, You find me
And You know every detail of my life
And You are God and You don't miss a thing.
